    Louis Pasteur developed vaccines for many common disease which helped people live longer.

    The Sewing Machine was invented

    Elias Howe invented the sewing machine, this meant that clothes can be made in large factories.

    Telegraph was invented

    Samuel Morse invented the telegraph which allowed messages to be sent quickly over a wire.

    Kids under 15 must attend school at least 3 months per year.

    In 1833 the factory act said that all kids have to get paid.
