    Treaty of Versailles
    On the 28th of June, 1919, the Treaty of Versailles was signed. It became effective on the 10th of January 1920. It was one of the most famous peace treaties of the time period that brought WWI to an end.
  • First Meeting of the League of Nations

    First Meeting of the League of Nations
    At this meeting, they encouraged all the nations to teach to 'Esperanto' at their schools. This is a culturally neutral language, however, it was soon defeated by French delegates who felt French was already a world-wide language.
  • The Dawes Plan

    The Dawes Plan
    It successfully resolved reparations that Germany had to pay after World War 1. It was proposed by the Dawes Committee, which was chaired by Charles G. Dawes.
