Lucy is 40 years old. She loves helping her 6 year old boy, Luis, with his homework. She loves and cares for Luis every second of every day. Lucy is in the Generativity vs. Stagnation stage, where the main developmental challenge is to care for others and to contribute to the well being of the young. -
Adolescence
Melissa is 14 and goes by the name of "Ruby". Her favorite activities include listening to loud, raunchy music, and hanging out with her friends who all have simalar nicknames to hers. She does not enjoy time with her parents - she finds them annoying. Melissa is in te Identity vs Confusion stage. -
Middle Childhood
Reece is an 8 year old boy. Reece loves going to the gym after school to swim and talk to the older kids there. They tell Reece all about what highschool is like, and how he should fit in best. Reece is in the stage of Industry vs. Inferiority, where the main developmental challenge is to begin to learn knowledge and skill of the culture. -
Early Adulthood
Vincent and Mary are 30 and 31. They are in the process of moving into their own apartment, they signed the lease two days ago, in both of their names. Vincent is worried. He isn't sure if he can commit to living with Mary for 12 months, he thinks he might want to explore more options rather than settling down so young. Vincent and Mary are in the Intamacy vs. Isolation stage where the main challenge is to establish a committed, long term relationship.
