Isaac Newton

    Isaac Newton was born on January 4, 1643. He was born in Woolsthorpe, England.
  • The King's School

    Newton's mother pulled him out of school when he was 12. Newton was gaining interest in chemistry at The King's School in Grantham. His mother wanted him to become a farmer. It did not work out for him. So, luckily he was able to continue school for basic learning.
  • Trinity College

    Newton was enrolled in Trinity College in 1661. His uncle had to influence his mother into letting him go into college. Newton started to enjoy advanced sciences. Newton spent a lot of time researching and learning more about certain philosophers. Newton was able to recieve more education for his efforts.
  • Newton's Prism

    Isaac Newton experimented with light and color. He created the prism to show how light reflects to make colors. The prism is placed in a sunlight beam to create a multicolored beam of light. They named it the color spectrum.
  • Newton's First Law

    Newton created the Law of Motion. The Law states, " A body at rest will remain at rest, and a body in motion will remain in motion unless it is acted upon by an external force." Newton started his Laws because of an apple falling from a tree. It was started in 1666.
  • Reflecting Telescope

    Newton designed and constructe a reflecting telescope in 1668. Newton worked on the telescope for a while. He tried to replace the lens with metal mirrors. Newton tested many different types of metals until he found the right one. Newton figured out that more light meant better veiws. The telescope was 12 inches long.
  • Degree

    Newton recieved a degree in 1669. The degree was a Master of Arts degree.
  • Newton's Second Law

    Newton create dhis second Law that is used in physics. The law clains that an object can accellerate if there are forces on the object. He presented all the Law's at once in 1686.
  • Newton's Third Law

    Newton created the third law and presented it with the rest in 1686. The third law is based on the fources of objects. The law states, " For every action, there is an equal and oppisite reaction."
  • Death

    Isaac newton died in his sleep.He died on March 20th, 1727.
