My Birth
On January 19, 1996, I was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital, as a healthy baby only 7 pounds. After my mother and I stayed at the hospital for 3 days, she brought me to my very first home at 119 Bobolink Rd, in West Hamilton. After we got home, my father named me as Lubna Karim. This day had effected many people, first of all my parents and also my older silblings because I had created a change in our home environment being a new born baby. -

Learning How To Walk
When I was a baby I had my first steps when I was only 9 months old. My mom would take me walking at the park in front of my house when I learned how to fully walk when I was about 2 to 3 years old. -
African Lion Safari
I had gone to African Lion Safari for the first time when I was only 3 years old. I remember I had seen parrots, elephants, and many other interesting creatures. I had gone there with my whole family other than my younger two siblings because they were not even born. This event is significant to me because it was my first time going to the zoo. with my entire family. -
Newborn Baby Sister
On October 21st, 1999 my mom was in the hospital and this is when I had my new born baby sister. Her name is Selina and now she is 11 years old and in grade 7. This event is very significant to me because she has effected my life and my entire families life as well. -
School Days
School is a place to learn and have fun. Growing up, I went to a lot of schools. My very first school was Centennial School, but now they changed the name to Bennetto School. My most memorable first was going to kindergarten at Centennial School. On my very first day of school, my mother took me to school, and told me it was very hard for her to leave me there alone. I also went to school in my country for a year and when we returned we moved on the mountain and I went to Gordon Price School. -
Newborn Baby Brother
On December 5th, 2002 my mom was in the hospital and this is when I had my new born baby brother, my youngest sibling. My older brother had kept his name. His name is Mehraz and now he is 9 years old and in grade 4. Mehraz goes to Gordon Price school and he is very athletic and enjoys playing sports. After he was born we had to move to a bigger house because we had more members. This event is very significant to me because the birth of my little brother has effected my entire families life. -
New York City
In the summer of 2008 my family and I had went on vacation to visit New York City. We had visited all of our relatives who lived there and we visited and seen many other different places including the statue of liberty. After travelling New York City we had gone to Washington D.C to visit one of of the historical buildings This trip was one of my favourite travels because I had fun with my family members. -
Grade 8 Graduation
Grade 8 Graduation, this day was very significant in my life becuase it marked the end of my elementary school life. On this day my parents, my older brother and sister had attended my grad ceremony it was very exciting for me and my parents were very proud for me too. I had won many awards on this day and this was a very significant event for me. -
First Day of High School
My first day of high school was on September 7th, 2010. This day was a significant event because it marked the beginning of a new chapter in school life. Four years in which you have to work very hard because what you do now is the result of what happens later. My first day of high school was actually very fun and interesting I got to meet new people and adapt to a new environment with new rules and classes.
