I guess you could say that my life was turned upside down in 2009. My mom got sick, the doctors didn't know what was wrong. She was always at the doctor or hospital all the time. She had to get blood transfusions every three weeks. My family basically fell apart. -
September 2010
After the doctors figured out that my mom had a very rare blood cancer they told her she needed to get a bone marrow transplant. On September 15 the doctor office called her and told her they found a perfect 10/10 match! We were so happy!! But that also meant that she had to be in the hospital for a month and then in another city for three more after that. Good and bad -
November 17, 2010
We drove to Denver from Colorado Springs to drop my mom off at the hospital. It was so hard to say goodbye to her, but she had to do this. There wasn't any other procedure the doctors could do to cure her. Me, my dad and my sister carried in her suitcases and she had to have a port put into her chest. We left her at the hospital and drove the hour and a half home in silence. I sat in the back seat and cried silently. -
December 2010
My mom is out of the hospital! She is staying in an apartment with my Auntie Lynn, her sister. I get to go up and spend Christmas with her! I am scared to see her, I haven't seen her in awhile. -

My mom is bald and very skinny. I was so scared when I saw her. But when she smiled at me and put her arms out to give me a hug I ran right into them. We are celebrating New Years without her, but also saying goodbye to her cancer!! -

My dad went and picked up my mom from Denver and she came to my school and surprised me! What a great day! We are all happy and crying when we saw each other. Now life can get back to normal. Very good!! -

We had to put my best friend Max to sleep today. He was only 9 years old but he had diabetes and got really sick. This totally sucks because yesterday was my birthday. Happy birthday to me -

My parents are getting divorced. My dad moved to Massachutess and me and my mom are moving to Flagstaff AZ. That is where my grandparents live. I am so sad to have to leave my friends behind. But maybe things will be good? -

My dad called me this morning and told me that my grandma died. She lives in Flagstaff. We didn't have time to call her yet, we were unpacking. I don't know what she died from but she wasn't even 60 years old yet. Life sucks -

First day of sophmore year at high school. I hate this school but made a really good friend! Her name is Chanel. We instantly hit it off and now are inseperable. Maybe things here are turning around for the better! -
February 2014
My best friend Chanel just moved in with us!! I am so happy right now!! Her mom kinda flaked out and my mom and grandparents said she could move in with us! This is going to be awesome!!
