    African Americans had no money or reseources for good facilities so theirs were separeted from whites using colored and white signs, seen in the picture.
    Public segregation: Kept from public places Ex- public transportation, jobs, restaurants, schools, water fountains, and restrooms. North: Segregation seen in housing and jobs
