Dewey created the concept of pragmatism to explain the way people approach problems. Pragmatism is the approach of one's problems in a practical way. This being different from using theories and principles that don't typically fit the norm. The most interesting part of this theory is that it taps into one's common sense. The suggestion that practical thinking was the appropriate approach to one's problems as opposed to idealism. -
