Her kidney function falls to 21%, prompting her physicans to put her on the kidney transplant list. She is also placed on the list for a new pancreas.

Physicans tell Jojo to come to UAB. She has a possible donor match.

Jojo undergos her dual transplant surgery lasting six and a half hours.

She is released from the hospital with full function of a new kidney and pancreas. She is now diabetes-free.
