The Lost Colony
1587:Not short after landing in Roanoke John White left the colony to get more supplies.He should have been back sooner but England was at war with Spain.Two long years later White returned to Roanoke only to discover the colony had mysteriously disappeared.The only sign that they didn't just disappeared, was that in a tree the word CROATOAN was carved into the wood. -

In 1681 King Charles II was Crowned King and gave some land to William Penn whom sailed to the New Land and they called it Sylvannia but he changed the name and called it Pennsylvania,to mark that he founded the New Land. -
The Southern Colonies
the Southern Colonies are known for tobacco, indigo(blue dye), and rice.The New England Colonies would hunt, gather shellfish, extract sap(maple), grow beans, corn, and squash.
