Sandusky is Sentenced
Jerry Sandusky is found guilty of 45 counts of sexual crimes and is sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison. -
Kane vs. Corbett
Kane lauches an investigation against Corbett, who was on the Penn State board of Trustees at the time of Sandusky's conviction. She calls to investigate whether he slowed the procescution of Sandusky to better his campaign for governor. -
The First Female Attorney General
Kane becomes both the first female and the first Democrat to be elected Attorney General in the history of the state of Pennsylvania. Kane defeats Dave freed 56% to 42%. She is soon after inaugerated into office in January 2013. -
Sandusky Investigation
Kane hires H. Geoffrey Moulton to further investigate how the Sandusky case was handled in her effort to prove her opinion that Corbett delayed case to better his case. -
The AG and Explicit Emails?
Two workers of the PIttsburgh Tribune-Review found that Moulton uncovered sexually explicit emails in the Attorney General's database during his investigation of the Sandusky trial. At first, Kane refusese to release the emails to the police or public. -
The Reveal
Kane eventually gives 4,000 emails to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice, Ron Castille. -
Kane & the Grand Jury
Kane admits to the Grand Jury that she leaked the pornographic material but she didn't violate any "secrecy laws". -
Re-election?
Kane announces that she will be running for re-election in 2016. -
Charged
The Grand Jury recommends charges against Kane for purjery and contempt of court. -
Bye Bye Law Lisence
Kane's law license is taken for lying while under oath in trial about purgery charges. -
No New Law License for Kane
The State Supreme Court rejects Kane's request to have her law license reinstated. -
No New Campaign
Kane announces that she will not be running for re-election in 2016.
