    The British colonial administration moves from Mombasa to Nairobi, then Nairobi becomes the official capital of Kenya. They began to start to bring their culture to Kenya
  • World War

    World War I begins to affect Africa, 47,000 Kenya Africans volunteer for service
  • British Takeover part 2

    The British settlers take over 5000 acres of land from the Africans, reducing their native land rights and males are required to carry I.D papers when they leave their reserves
  • Protest

    Africans begin to protest back at the British settlers and become educated from the missions
  • Tea

    The first tea plantations was founded in Kenya, and a law came out that ensures that only the European settlers profit from the exports of tea and coffee
