    There is a fear of Sioux uprising and the Sioux are massacred.
  • Nez Perce War (1877)

    Joseph leads some 700 men, women, and children on a 1,400 mile flight, his 200 warriors hold off Mile’s 2,000 soldiers until halted 40 miles short of Canada. Send to Indian Territory, many die of disease.
  • Apache and Navajo Wars (1881-1886)

    Apache and Navajo Wars (1881-1886)
    Carson kills or relocates many Apache to reservations in 1862, these clashes continue until Geronimo's surrender in 1863 but before this can happen Carson attacked and killed hundreds of Native Americans and destroyed their homelands. The Navajo were then moved to a New Mexico reservation in 1865.

    Cheyenne raids prompt Chivington to kill up to 500 surrendered Cheyenne and Arapahoe led by Black Kettle.

    After Buffalo Hunters destroy the Native American's food supply, Comanche warriors go to Buffalo grazing lands in Texas panhandle to kill the hunters. Sherman and Sheridan defeat the warriors and open panhandle to cattle ranching

    The US tries to buy Black Hills from Sioux and then they fail. The 7th Calvary in sent in to round up the Sioux but they meet a huge enemy force.
