    The creoles from South America decided to revolt for their independence.Simon Bolivar took the lead in the revolution.By 1819,he led 2,000 soldiers and defeated the others in what is now known as Colombia.Bolivar gained Venezuela's independene in 1821.Bolivar and San Martin teamed up to free the remaining of Latin America.O'Higgins came into the picture and helped San Martin to free Chile.

    The Indians and the Mestizos were tired of the descrimination.They didn't believe that they had all of the rights they deserved.In 1810,Miguel Hidalgo rang the bells to his church and announced the rebellion against the Spanish.After him came,Jose Maria Morelos who took over the revolution for four years.In 1815,he was defeated by Agustin de Iturbide.

    Morelos was defeated by Agustin in 1815.In 1820,Spain put a liberal group in power in Mexico.The creoles were scared to lose their rights so they united to support Mexico's independence.Agustin-the one who defeated Morelos decided to declare independence in 1821.
