A Christmas Carol
Playing Tiny Tim Back in November of 2009, Brewster High School was putting on it's annual fall drama. Being a 4th Grader, the world of BHS theatre was an amazing place. The show was A Christmas Carol and I was Tiny Tim. I remember trying out. Having to sing a song in front of a bunch of strangers was a very odd thing to do for me but I was very glad that my 4th grade teacher put my name in to Ms. P. Without that start I don't think I would be where I was today. -
Oliver!
Playing the title role in St. Lawrence' production of Oliver! Following my performance in A Christmas Carol, I had caught the Theatre bug. That summer I decided that I wanted to continue with the theatre, so I auditioned for Oliver and got the role! I was so excited to be performing with the same high school friends that I had worked with in Christmas Carol. It was a lot of work, more than I had expected. Rehearsals almost every day and it was hot. I learned of hard it was to have a lead. -
Secret Garden
Secret Garden
After Mr. Viglucci had come to the Middle school in 8th grade to explain marching band, I was so excited to be a part of it. Hearing him explain all the cool things they did was exciting. The first day, I walked into the band room, I knew I was in for the ride. When the person in charge called the band to attention, it was a surreal experience. I had never heard anyone scream so loud at once. I was so excited to get started. Memorizing the music was the hardest part. -

Peter Pan
Peter Pan Coming into Freshman year I had quite a bit of experience in the BHS theatre department. Getting a lead role in the musical was a surprise but I was definitely hyped. It was the night before tech week and the guys had just finished all the rigging for the fly system. I was both excited and nervous to be up on those ropes in that harness. being lifted up for the first time was such a strange feeling and that experience will always be one of the most favorite things I have done here. -
Shrek The Musical
Shrek
After coming off Peter Pan, I realized that maybe acting just wasn't for me. I decided I wanted to try the other end of the production; The Crew. The first few days were interesting since I never had worked on the set before, only walked on it. Because I was very tech savy, I thought it might be a good idea to try lighting. It turns out that it was one of the best decisions I ever made. The job I did for this show is the one I want to do for the rest of my life. -
Drum Major Interview
Drum Major Interview At then end of my sophomore year, I had been in marching band for 3 years. I had a lot of fun and was waiting for Vig to come out of his office. We had just had interviews for Drum Major and I had been waiting for this since I was an 8th grader. After Andrew and Maudie had finished discussing, Vig came out -
DMA 2015
Drum Major Academy 2015 As Drum Major I had to learn a few things before I could go up in front of band. Learning how to conduct and command the band were just a few things. Going there, this is what I thought I would learn. Turns out, that is not all you have to do to become a Drum Major. You needed leadership skills and these people were here to teach, not only the conducting and the commands, but the leadership skills as well. -
