• The boys try to make a fire for someone to hopefully see and rescue them.
• The fire quickly spread out of control and then burned out.
They create some rules for the island.

how to survive a plane crash•The plane crashes on a deserted island.
• Ralph and Piggy find a conch shell and use it to call others.
• The boys elect Ralph as their chief.
• Ralph chooses Jack and Simon to explore the island with him -
Chapter Three
how to make a shelter • Ralph was getting frustrated that the boys wouldn't help with the shelters.
• Jack was only concerned with killing a pig.
• Simon wondered off and found a beautiful clearing in the forest. -
Chapter Four
how to cook a pig• Ralph sees a ship on the horizon.
• The choir boys let the fire dye out.
• The choir boys come back with a dead pig. -
Chapter Five
how to keep a fire going
•Ralph has a meeting about how the choir boys let the fire go out.
•Jack is mad and says they dont need rule any more and should be able to have fun.
•Most of the boys run away yelling with jack. •Ralph doesnt blow the chonc because he is afraid they will not come back. -
Chapter Six
parachuting
•Jack challenges the rules about the conch and Ralphs power.
•Sam N Erik see "the beast from the air."
•The boys go serching for the "castle" -
Chapter Seven
hog hunting with spears •Simon says he thinks Ralph will get back alright.
•Ralph got excited that he wounded the pig.
•Simon was the only one brave enough to go into the forest alone. -
Chapter Eight
why does Simon have seizures
•The boys think they see the beast.
•Ralph called the hunters "boys armed with sticks."
•Simon "speaks" to The Lord of The Flies. -
Chapter Nine
how to resuscitate a person
•Simon finds the dead pilot.
•Simon trys to tell the others about the pilot.
•The boys kill Simon. -
Chapter Ten
how to negotiate
•The two groups split and the only ones left on Ralph's side of the island is Piggy, Sam 'N' Erik and some littluns.
•Ralph is upset about killing Simon.
•Jack, Maurice, and Rodger sneak over to Raph's side of the island and steal Piggy's glasses. -
Chapter Eleven
how to stay calm durring chaos •Piggy wants Ralph to call an assembly.
•Piggy, Ralph and Sam'N'Erik go to Jack's side of the island.
•Things go into a chaos the conch breaks and Piggy ends up falling over the edge of the cliff and dying. -
Chapter Twelve
how to get out of a hostage situation
•Jack forced Sam'N'Erik to join his tribe.
•Sam'N'Erik tell Ralph Jack and Rodger's plans to hunt him down the next day.
•The Navy officer finds Ralph and rescues the boys off the island.
