Chapter 3
How to Build a Hut 1) Ralph and Simon work on making the huts. 2) Ralph and Jack argue about who's not doing work on the island even though everyone agreed to do work. 3)Simon walked into a beautiful meadow sat down by himself -
Chapter 4
How to Kill a Pig 1) Roger comes and stomps on the littleuns sandcastles and starts throwing stones at them 2) Jack camouflagues his face and goes into the jungle with the other boys for hunting 3) Jack and his group killed a pig and fed it to the others but Piggy didn't get any so Simon shared some of his. -
Chapter 5
Ways to be a Good Leader 1) Ralph calls for another meeting to tell the boys there failure of following the rules. 2) One of the littleuns claims that he saw the beast. Boys get all worries but Jack says that him and his hunters will take down the beast. 3) Ralph tells Piggy and Simon that he might relinquish being a leader but the boys talk him into stay by saying they need his guidence. 4) End of chapter they hear an echo of a littleun crying along the beach. -
Chapter 6
How to Keep a Fire Going Overnight 1) Ralph and Simon carry the littleun back to the island as military airplanes battle above the island 2) Sam and Eric find a dead parachutist and mistake this for the beast 3) The boys start to climb the hill again and started acting more as if they did in the very beginning of the story -
Chapter 7
How to Climb a Mountain 1) As the boys travel the mountain searching for the beast the hunters find the pigs dropping so they are also looking for the pig 2) The boys find a boar, they start to chase the boar but then it disappears. 3) Ralph jack and Roger beginning climbing the mountain again and Jack climbs up the summit alone and claims to see the beast. Ralph and Roger climb up and see the ape -
Chapter 8
Hallucinations 1) Jack blows the conch shell to claim a meeting 2) Jack and his group kill a sow and placed the head of the sow on a sharp stake. 3) Simon see's the sow and speaks to Simon. Simon gets dehydrated and starts hallucinations -
Chapter 9
Mob Mentality
1) When Simon awakes he heads towards the mountain, as he crawls up he see's the dead pilot with the flapping parachute. Simon realizes that the boys have mistaken the beast . 2) Piggy and Ralph go to the feast, after the feast it starts to rain but jack and his crew start doing there wild hunting dance 3) The boys suddenly see a figure out in the forest and they didn't know it was Simon. They killed him. -
Chapter 10
Manipulating People
1) Everyone now has joined Jacks tribe at the Castle Rock except for Sam and Eric and a handful of the littluns 2) At the Castle of Rock Jack rules that the boys are punished for no apparent reason. Jack ties up a boy names Wilfred and beats him 3) The boys with Ralph go to sleep one night and Jack and his tribe attacked Ralph and his group steal Piggy's glasses for there fire -
Chapter 11
CPR1) Piggy suggests to Ralph that he should hold a meeting to show their own opinion 2) Ralph takes the oonch to Castle Rock, once he gets there Jack and Ralph start fighting 3) Ralph and Jack start fighting again later for there second time. Roger shoves a boulder down killing Piggy and breaking the conch. -
Chapter 12
What is a thicket?1) Ralph sneaks down Castle Rock, and finds Samneric guarding the enterance. The twins give him food but refuse to join him. 2) They tell Jack the plan and his whole tribe goes after Ralph to find him where he's hiding in a thicket 3) Jack finds Ralph and they start fighting again and as Ralph falls from being tired he sees an officer who came from boat because the saw the huge fire that jack started to take down the Island.. They got recused.
