Battle of Britain w/ the Blitz
In the summer of 1940, germans invaded the british on the French coast. It was more of an air war used with planes and jets (smaller planes) and bombing went on for a straight two months.There was a new tchnology made called a "radar" showing if there was any aircraft in the nearby area.When the British shot down German planes Hitler decided to call off the invasion, even though they kept bombing each other. -
Battle of the Atlantic
In the first four months, the Germans sank 87 ships in the atlantic shore and destroyed 681 of allied ships. Allies made convoys and were able to destroy German boats -
Battle of Stalingrad
In the Battlee of Stalingrad, in modern day Volgograd, there was nightly bombing to the point were it was so destroyed that the Germans thought of abandoning it. In september, the Germans controled nine out of ten of the city. During the winter, the soviet union trapped the Germans in the city blocking their supplies. Also, the German Commander surrendered. -

In the summer of 1942, in North Africa, the British launched an attack and the Germans tried to stop the British attack, but didnt succeed which made Hitler and his German army retreat. -

D-Day
In Omaha Beach, there was three division that invaded Germany. Americans, Canadians and the British. It was the largest land, air and sea operation in army history. The Americans took over the French capitals from Germany, who tried to take over everything. The Germans retaliation was brutal. -
Battle of the Bluge
The Battle of the Bulge was about allied territory. Hitler hoped it would split the allied supplies line. The tanks drove 60 miles creating a "bulge". The germans captured and killed American GI's. The Germans pushed back when they lost a lot of men and war supplies.
