    1950 Maurice obtained the first clearly crystalline X-ray diffraction patterns from DNA fibers.
    Frankilin left Kings college in 1953 and went to Birkbeck college and studied the structure of the tobacco mosaic virus and the structure of RNA. They took pictures of the showing the structure of the DNA.
    Franklin was decided to Laboratoire Central des Services Chimiques de l'Etat in Paris, there she worked with crystallographer Jacques Mering.
