    The purpose of this treaty was to limit Monarch's Power and not allow them to take life, liberty, or poverty. This is one of the oldest things to flow into our government.

    This was a document in which helped place a temporary government, a civil body politic, until one could be established. Obviously this has passed but it helped shape the government.

    Because the Magna Carta, wasn't followed this was created to jail people for breaking laws and protecting civil liberty. The jailing has flown over to our government system today.

    This was discontinued 200 years after it begun, but it restricted forgiven ships for Trade. because it was discontinued this is not used today.
  • English Bill of Rights

    This was almost the platform of our government, this prohibited peacetime standing army, gave you free election, the right to a fair trial, and taxes couldn't be used with out permission.

    To keep things in order for Great Britain settlers were forbidden to pass a line in the Appalachian Mountains.

    There was a three cent tax on foreign sugar, increasing the taxes of coffee and such. This is what angered and influenced tax issues.
