    Most Significant - Muhammad

    Most Significant - Muhammad
Very similar to the life of Jesus, believer or not in Muhammad, no one could deny the imapct his life had on History. Before Muhammad became the founder of Islam, the Middle East was full of small tribes that warred against each other continuously. Muhammad brought those tribes together and gave them a purpose and a reason to join forces. I chose this because Muhammad impacted today and the whole of History with this religion and changed the shape of the Middle East that is still changing.

M.A - City states and feudal systems

M.A - City states and feudal systems
Many new Italian towns became states, such as; Rome, Florence, Venice, and others. Just after, the feudal system begins. All of the Kings hand out small sections of land called fiefs to lords in exchange for helpduring wars. Then the peasants would work on the sections of land for an exchange of food and protection. I chose this event from the Middle Ages because the system played a big role way back then. The states have also made a big imapct on today.

M.A - Alfred the Great of England rules
Alfred finally defeats the Danes (Vikinngs) after years of trying in 878. A few years later In 886 Alfred manages to capture London. Once captured, he decides to signs a treaty which splits England between him and the Danes. Alfred also likes education, and as a ruler he encourages it by establishing schools. I chose to write about Alfred because I think he made a pretty big impcact with the past and what it has made our world what it is today.
