    Mercedes Benz Founded
    The first edition of the logo was appeared on cars manufactured by Daimler in 1902. Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft used the Mercedes name for most of its cars and registered it as a trademark in 1902.

    The Three Pointed Star
    After a while the company introduced a new brand logo in 1909, the glorious star of three points. Technical Director of Deutz, Gottlieb Daimler, designed it.

    In 1916, there was a new Mercedes logo design. The redesign featured a circle that surrounded the star and included four stars as well as the name of the company. The emblem remained the brand identity of the Mercedes Corporation for the next ten years.

    This edition of the logo included the laurel wreath that was once a part of the Benz & Cie motors. The redesign was done after Benz & Cie merged with Daimler-Benz AG. The new logo also included the name of both the companies.

    In the year of 1936, the Mercedes 540K became a popular choice in Germany for carrying high-ranking officers of Hitler’s Third Reich from place to place. This model is prized for more than being a staff car, though. The 540K featured a 5.4 liter, straight-8 cylinder with a supercharger that could achieve a power output of an impressive 180 horsepower.

    The 300SL was produced for nine years 1954-1963, and it is considered one of the best-known models the company has ever released. Originally introduced on the track as a race car in 1952, the Gullwing became so popular with the public that the company released the model to consumers in 1954.

    The Mercedes 280SL was only in production from 1967-1971. It has an incredible engine. the 280SL carries a 2.8-liter inline 6-cylinder engine capable of putting out approximately 170 horsepower. In the year the 280SL was released, this was considered impressive.

    In 1967, the company founded Mercedes-AMG as a separate high-performance division of the Mercedes-Benz. This company is still present and customizes, engineers, and manufactures Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles.
  • New and Improved Cars

    New and Improved Cars
    In 1987, Mercedes-Benz introduced its famous 100 D 631 series and a year later the W201 Serie 2 made its debut, which was a compact executive car with a sports sedan body style. Also these cars were improved because they reduced the amounts of CO2 emissions coming from these new cars compared to the old cars. These new cars included Oil filters and air filters.

    The Mercedes-Benz 500E was hand built by another manufacturer, Porsche. During the time this model was in production from 1991-1994, each one was sent back and forth between the Mercedes and Porsche company headquarters during the 18 days it would take to assemble them.
