The Spanish fought and defeated the ingurgent army in the battle of the bridge of calderon. Which forced the rebels to run towards the Mexican border in hopes of escape. Hidalgo and his men were captured. -
Hidlago's Death.
After Hidalgo and his men were captured by the Spanish, Hidalgo was executed. His head was displayed in Guanajuato as a warning to the Mexican Rebels. -

After Hidalgo's death Jose Maria Morales became the new leader of the Revolutionary Army. -

He was captured by Spanish coloniel authorities then he was executed for treason. -
