Thanksgiving 1987
Chandler, Monica's bother's roommate, always spent Thanksgiving with Monica's family. Monica had a crush on him when she overheard him call her fat. That day she decided to lose weight, and the next Thanksgiving she was skinny. That year, Chandler had a crush on Monica, but she accidentally cut off his toe. Regardless, they were both attracted to each other, so it's where it all began. -
When We're Forty
Monica is upset when Ross, her brother, is having a baby because she isn't close to having her own baby. Chandler recommends they promise to get married and have babies if neither of them has their own babies by the time they are 40. Monica is, of course, offended, because, "Why wouldn't I be married when I'm forty?" But the offer still warms our hearts. -
If I was the Last Man on Earth
On a beach trip, Monica complains to Chandler that she will be perpetually single. He, in turn, offers to be her boyfriend. She laughs and insists that will never happen. He then spends the rest of the beach trip trying to convince her that he would make a GREAT boyfriend. She finally gets him to put the subject to rest, well, because he "will always be the guy that peed on" her. -
The One at the Wedding
When a guest mistakes Monica for Ross's mom at his wedding, Monica turns to Chandler for comfort. They end up spending the night with each other secretly, but then they can't keep their hands off of each other afterwards. This was the first moment we got to see a glimpse of our favorite couple. -
Chandler loves Monica
All of the friends have found out about Chandler and Monica's secret relationship, and when uncovering the secret, we find out that Chandler is in love with Monica. Of course, Monica loves Chandler too and everyone is ecstatic about their relationship. -
The Proposal
Chandler finally proposes to Monica after tricking her into believing he never wants to get married. Monica almost gives up on their relationship, until Joey tells her the true reason Chandler has been acting odd. With lots of love and happy tears the two agree to become engaged, and the friends are there cheering within minutes. -
Just Married
Monica and Chandler's big day finally arrived. Chandler panics the night of the rehearsal dinner and almost runs away, but he returns when he hears a false rumor that Monica is pregnant. The two share perfect vows and pledge their lives to one another. -
BUT WE ONLY ORDERED ONE
Moncia and Chandler, who couldn't have babies on their own, go to the hospital with the woman who has agreed to let them adopt her baby. After the woman has the baby, Chandler and Monica are ready to take their newborn home until the doctor says, "The next one will be along any minute." Monica reminds a panicking Chandler that they will love and take care of both babies, and the Bing Family grows by a boy and a girl.
