    This is a day that European allied nations and territories that were involved in World War II celebrate. His days marks the ending of the war in Europe and the victory over Japan. It is celebrated May 8th.

    The heads of the state were Harry s Truman, Winston Churchill, and Joseph Stalin. They agreed on German economy, punishments for war criminals and land boundaries. Thye wanted Japan to surrender and if they did not thye faced utter destruction.
