    With mediocre grades I made the logical step to start at one of the two local JCs in my area. No vision as of yet for my career path.

    Within 2 1/2 years I have obtained my AA, I learned to be a better academic student, and figured out a career path to becoming a teacher. Upon completion of SCC, I directly transferred to CSU Sacramento to continue my Bachelor's Degree.

    Began my Junior year of college at CSU Sacramento with a major initially in History, but changing it after 1 semester to Social Science.
  • Graduate with a BA in Social Sciences

    Finally receive my degree at CSUS and am also admitted into the teacher preparation program on campus.

    While working a fulltime, I complete Sac State's teacher program and receive my preliminary credential. Now to find a job...

    Upon landing my first full-time teaching job at a CDS in Grass Valley I began BTSA as a first year teacher.
