This event is significant because although I was very young when it occured, it would not be the last foreign attack on American peoples that I would be alive to hear about. -

Due to Iraq's refusal to comply with the United Nations in weapon instructions a four day air strike campaign. The attacks were focused on bases and factories that made the missles. This event is significant to my life because it marks that early beginnings of a war that was declared during my childhood. -

This event is extremely significant to my life because on this day, unlike most people my age, I was home sick from school and as my mom watched the news on television I witnessed live as the planes crashed into the towers, killing thousands of American citizens. -

This event is significant to my life because I remember being 7 years old watching the President declare war on Afghanistan, this event hit really close to home because at the time my cousin was enlisted in the Marines. I personally remember being very afraid because I did not understand what was going on or why we were going into war. -

U.S. bombing raids continue until January, this event marks a significant point in the war in the Middle East, as the U.S. tried to help rid the Middle East of corrupt governments and dictators. The taliban were a very bad group of government dictators that were responsible for attacks on America. -

This event marked yet another war in the Middle East, the U.S. invaded Iraq on this day in 2003 and marked the beginning of troops entering the war in Iraq, to this day troops are still fighting in Iraq which makes this an ongoing significant event in my lifetime. -
