Slavery was an envent that lasted in america for 245 years. When americans would go to Africa and trade weapons and other things for African salves. Then the slaves that where traded where shipped to america to be sold again to plantion owners. Without slavey and how bad it was in america we wouldn't have abolished it and probaly have it now in our time. -
Cotton Gin
The Cotton Gin was invented by Eli Whitney in 1793. The cotton gin processes cotton so it's ready to be used. It was a huge and very useful invention in the 1700s but one effect of it being made was that plantion owners needed way more slaves to make cotton. Thus making the need to have more slaves. -

The Great Depression started due to the Stock Market Crash, or more knowned as Black Tuesday. It lasted from 1929 to 1940. It was a horrible time in our country becayse it left many people homeless and no jobs. -

On July 16, 1969, Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins road a rocket to the moon and landing on it. Armstrong was the first man on the moon and took the first steps. They all made history that day bu putting the american flag on the moon. -

The first cell phone was used in 1973. Dr Martin Cooper demonstrated the phone to show people what it can do. It showed us that we can do something that can change and help us a lot. -

In 1983 the DynaTAC 8000x was the frist cell phone that you could commercially buy. 10 years after the first cell phone was made. Letting people buy the phone help us with communication. -

I was born on September 28, 2000. I was 18 months and 18 days after my brothers and 12 weeks after my cousins. -
Attacks Of 9/11
On September 11, 2001 the The Twin Towers and the pentagon was hit by planes. Terrorist took over four planes and planned to destroy buildings in our country. Only three planes hit buildings while on hit on open land. Many people died that sad day. It made our country more carful and watchful o who comes inot our air ports and country.
