    Apollo 11 Mission
    The crew of Apollo 11 performed a crewed lunar landing and return to Earth. This was significant because they included scienific exploration by the lunar module.

  • Gemini 3 Mission

    Gemini 3 Mission
    Virgil I. Grissom and John W. Young were the crew members of this flight. They demonstrated manned orbital flight. The Gemini 3 mission was significant because it preformed three experiments. It also took very many photographs.

  • Hubble Space Telescope

    Hubble Space Telescope
    The Hubble Space Telescope was deployed from the space shuttle discovery. It was significant because it has taken absoulutely magnificent photos of many different marvelous things in space.

  • Launched the WISE spacecraft

    Launched the WISE spacecraft
    WISE stands for Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer. The WISE spacecraft surveyed the entire sky at infrared wavelengths. This spacecraft took 1,500,000 images at infrared wavelengths. This was significant because it provided the United States of America with images of the sky at infrared wavelenghts.

  • GloPac 2010 Mission

    GloPac 2010 Mission
    GloPac is short for Global Hawk Pacific. GloPac was the first environmental science mission of NASA's GloPac unmanned aircraft system. Ten instruments on the aircraft will collect a wide range of atmopheric data. This was significant because it was the first environmental science mission, that was an unmanned aircraft.
