    Leave for expediton

    Leave for expediton
This is my house on a rock on the coastal line of northern Germany. I left here on an expidition to explore the world and learn more about different cultures. I have a 23m long ship called a Caravela redonda that can hold roughly 18 people.

    First Port

We have docked at a small island in the easrter part of the pacific ocean. We have bought more supplies and a few minor repairs from a minor storm that took us off track a few days.

    Secound port (Biggest yet)

We have landed in Moroco and this is our frist major port we have been at yet. There was a bigger storm that hit us about two months out of the last port that brought off track significantly. We are going to spend about a week to fix the damage.

    Close call with pirates

As we were sailing on a clear day, one of our crew members spotted a ship in the distance headed our way with black sails. They were clearly pirates and we wanted nothing to do with them. So we went full sail and darted away untill they were out of view.

    Third port

It is the beginning of summer and it is going to a hot year, we are going to stock up on supplies to make it though with out stopping for about a year. This will be a hard push through but I think we could make it. We are at a small island in the middle of the pacific and the last trip went by a lot faster.

Done with our long break (fourth port)

We have made it to south africa and we are worn out. We ran out of supplies four weeks ago and we had to catch fish off the boat and brids that landed on the ship. We ran into a few small storms and avaided a big one. We are staying here for a while to get to normal working speed.

    Few small stops for supplies

We are trying to go for a while without stopping but it's not working out for us. Our crew is going through supplies much faster than I inticipated.

    Rough weather

We have run into some rough weather and it tore through the ship with devasting damage. We are going to take about two-three weeks to get back to normal. We are also running low on food and supplies and need to shorten our stop to get this stuff done.

    Last port

We have made our way back up toward south america and now we have a long trip ahead to go. We are going to try to make it all the way home without stopping, but we might have to make a few small ports.

    Coming to an end

We have made it through the toughest part and now we are headed back home. In all this trip was worth it and even with all the troubles it was in all worth the work.
