  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    Battle of Lexington and Concord
    In the battle of Lexington and Concord, there were about 1,000 British soldiers and only 70 Militia Men. There was 122 casualties The winner was the colonies. Then the British retreated to Boston.
  • Battle of Fort Ticonderoga

    The battle of fort Ticonderoga was on May 10, 1775. On this day a group of Green Mountain boys, led by Ethan Allen and Benedict Arnold, overcoming a small British garrison. There were 0 people wounded in this battle.
  • The Battle of Buncker Hill

    On June 17, 1775, the British defeated the Americans at the Battle of Bunker Hill in Massachusetts. Despite their loss, the inexperienced colonial forces inflicted significant casualties against the enemy, and the battle provided them with an important confidence boost. Although commonly referred to as the Battle of Bunker Hill, most of the fighting occurred on nearby Breed’s Hill. The patriots sustained over 400 casualties.
  • The Battle of Long Island.

  • The Battle of Monmouth

    June 28, 1778 is when the battle of Monmouth took place.The Continental Army under General George Washington attacked the rear of the British Army column commanded by Lieutenant General Sir Henry Clinton as they left Monmouth Court House. There was 650 deaths in the battle.
  • The Battle of Cowpen.

    The estimated casualties for the British were 110 dead, more than 200 wounded, and 500 taken prisoner; compared to only 12 killed and approximately 60 American soldiers wounded. The war was fought in South Carolina.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    This war was located in Virginia. 381 Men were killed and 506 were wounded. This was the finally of all the main battles fought in the American Revolution.
