    The NSDAP also known as the Nazis was a minor political party that began in January 1919. This party pushed for nationalism, and used anti-Semitic ideas, also known as anti-Jewish.
  • Hitler assumes control over the Nazis

    Hitler declared himself the party's leader after being a spy for the army.
  • Nazis gain support with various groups

    The NSDAP was popular with the farmers, small business owners, and all the others in the middle class who thought they were ignored or betrayed by the Weimar government.
  • Great Depression and Impact for Nazis

    During the Great Depression many German voters to go to more profound parties like the Nazi party. After the Great Depression started the NSDAP gained a lot of people.

    As Hitlers party got larger he was looking for a Chancellor, but he didn't trust anyone to be Chancellor so he chose himself to be in control of the NSDAP.

    There was a fire set in the Reichstag building. No one knew who set the fire, but Hitler used this fire to his advantage. Hitler basically controlled the government that Germany had and made it into his own by making the government change and remove a lot of the current laws.

    The Nazis took over Germany with this act. The act allowed Hitler to govern with out reference to Reichstag. After the act was passed the Nazis rigged the vote by arresting dozens of members in other parties.

    The concentration camps were made to hold the political prisoners who didn't agree with what the Nazis thought.
  • Hindenburg’s Death and the Aftermath

    President Hindenburg died and Hitler took complete control of the government. There was another vote to seek public endorsement of the constitutional change, which people thought Hitler rigged.
  • Rearmament

    Hitler reintroduced the draft. After he reintroduced it started the Four-year plan and this was to prepare the "nations military" for war.
  • Anschluss-Austrian Takeover

    The Austrian chancellor held a vote on Austrian independence. Hitler thought that the vote was rigged so he told them to give the power to the Austrian Nazis or they would face invasion. So the chancellor went to get help from the French and the British but they declined, so then the chancellor resined. Then the next day Hitler crossed the border and took over
  • Czechoslovakia and the Munich Agreement

    There were some meetings that Hitler was in with Prime Minister Neville Chamberland. In the meetings Hitler demanded German forces to be allowed into the Sudeten region. After a little while they signed an agreement telling the Nazis that they could take over Sudetenland
