First Plane Rid
At the age of six Neil Armstrong went on his first plane rid which gave him interest in airplanes. -
Went to collage in 1947
Went to collage at the Purdue University at the age of 17. -
Served in the Korean War
Neil Armstrong left collage after three years in to serve in the navy as a pilot. Served for 3 years. Returned in 1952. -
Married Janet Shearon in 1956
One year later had their first son, then had their daughter two years later. -

Neil Armstrong'd first child was a boy, Eric Armstrong. -
First Daugter
Neil Armstrong's first daughter was born, Karen. -
Joined NASA
He started his NASA career in Ohio. -
His first daughter died
Karen, their first daughter, died of a brain tumor. One year later had another son. -
Launched to the moon
He was commanded pilot. He launched off with Michael Collins. The flight was 4 days then he made history by stepping on the moon on June 20, 1969. -
Came Home
Neil Armstrong cam home with a 4 days flight from the moon. -
Left NASA
He left NASA to become a teacher at the university of Cincinnati as a professor of aerospace engineering. -
Death
Neil Armstrong died at the age of 82 because he had a risk of open heart surgery.
