Anne Marie, Ellen, and Kirsti were running to school and were stopped by two nazis on the street corner one of the soldiers thought Kirsti looked like his daughter and stroked her hair Kirsti then hit his hand away. -
SS house search
Ellen was being hunted by the nazis and was staying at the Johanssen appartment. -
Escape to the farm
Anne Marie, Ellen, Kirsti, and m.s. Johansen leave copenhagen to avoid the Nazis. At the farm they meet with Henrick Johansen (Anne Marie's uncle). Later on peter comes with the rest of the Rosen family. -
Search of the cottage
The Nazis come to inspect Henrick's cottage. They ask why there is so many epople gathering in the household and peter said it is the funeral for great aunt Birta. -
Henrick's Tasty Lunch
Anne Marie was running along a trail to deliver a mysterious package to her Uncle Henrick when two Nazis with dogs stoped her. The dogs were atrackted to the package it was a hankerchief and when the dogs sniffed it they lost their sence of smell. They left after one of the dogs ate Henrick's bread. -
The escape
Henrick took the Rosens and several other jewish people to the border of Sweeden where they could hide from the Nazis.
