  • Criteria Table

On this day, I will work on the design criteria for my product, this includes the Form, Function, Audience, Cost, and Global context. As well as providing with evaluation methods for each section.
  • Research

Throughout this week, I will start on my research about portrait paintings and what are the types, techniques, and styles there are so I can get a better idea overall and decide how I should create my portrait painting and what type of portrait paintings I will work with. At the same time, taking notes of the important techniques mentioned to produce a good portrait painting.
  • Research 2

Moreover research into portrait paintings and basic techniques.
    Questions including these might help:
    1. Techniques applied while sketching facial features
    2. Techniques used with color-blending
    3. How to adapt the portrait painting to make it seem more real
  • Source evaluation

Evaluate 5 or more sources that were used in the research.
I will include the notes I took and the website link.
  • Research Citation

At the end of the research, I would cite the sources I've used on MyBib.com
  • Final decision

I will make the final decision of what type of portrait painting suits best for me, the style and types of paintbrushes that are required for each technique. After the final decision, I will have a clear idea of what I want.
  • Choose Image

I will be choosing an image from the internet as a secondary source.
The image of the singer should be:
    - 1/4 turn
    - Clear
    - From head to chest

For the materials that are needed, I will order them online on Umistrong Art Store & Art Studio, then delivered over.
The cost of the materials bought won't exceed over $100.

    2. acrylic paint set (100ml-300ml)

  • Practice

While waiting for the materials to deliver over, I will use this time to practice on papers at drawing the facial features to have preparation before starting the actual painting. And using the paintbrushes I have at home to practice the techniques with the leftover paints I have.
  • Period: to
