    Leaving the Avero Port

I got placed on a caravell with a crew of 12 including Captain cozoes, one of the more navigational captains even though he is younger than the others. The crew have loaded the ship with Fresh water and trade items for slaves, pepper, and ginger. We leave for India, First mate geovi, August 12.

Several Weeks out in the seas.

Been a while since I've written, The captain's death really striked us all. He was too young, too much life. We did'nt have a doctor or anything, he just couldnt handle the sickness well, he died of scurvy, poor guy, quebec took his spot and holds the shiny compass. 1st mate giovi August 30.

    Storming sea waves

The ship took some damage from a recent storm, nothing too serious except that some of the heavy lifters forgot to batten down a barrel of Fresh Water. complicating the voyage, we'll have to stop at a port to get more fresh water, not that the water was very "fresh" 1st mate Giovi September 8.

    The seas have settled

It's been weeks since the storm, a couple days after the storm it got real boring. Morale is lower than ever, its still a couple days till we reach the port of the coast of the Western Sahara

Just arrived of the coast of the Western Sahara

We arrived tired but we knew we still had a job to do. We sent the small boat to go trade for what we needed but we were not supposed to trade for anything we did'nt need, because we needed the money for when we got to India. If we ever make it there... 1st mate Giovi September 30.

Departing from the port, heading to the tip of Africa

Departing from the port, heading to the tip of Africa
Once again out at see far away from anyone else other than who's on the ship, almost as if the world has suddenly become completley divoid of life. Except for the occasional fish jumping out of water. 1st mate Giovi October 2.

    Port of Tenes

    Port of Tenes
Once again we are closing into port for a while. We've decided that we are going to stay close to the coast of Africa till we can get around the tip and towards India.

    The tip of Africa

    The tip of Africa
We've just now landed at Port Durban, It's been several Months since we first set out.. We're all exausted and I would think better of myself than this but I'm starting to seriously complain about the food. Especially the food mate Arganzi has been getting at these ports. Still a while till india. For Portugal 1st mate Giovi November 1st.

    A long voyage.

    A long voyage.
We're heading straight to India, or at least as straight as possible for what we can configure with the maps and the compass, you know I really miss the Captain at this point. His death threw us all off. But other people have died. So, we move on. One death cannot be mourned for the living have more to fear than death.
Isolationism... 1st mate Giovi November 31st

    Port Nadu, India

    Port Nadu, India
Its been such a long jouney especially since our captain died and we spent a long while trying to figure out where to go. But as soon as we got close to Africa we knew where we we're going. But even with all the adventure we still had a job to do. For portugal, we gathered a lot of fine supplies to head back to portugal with.
