Equal Pay Act
It was aimed at abolishing wage disparity based on sex. It was signed into law by John F. Kennedy. It gave women the ability to be able to haev the same jobs as men. -

Giverns water polution. Without it, water would be much filthier. -
Endangered species act
Protects endangered species. Many more animals would be extinct without this. -
Employee Retirement Income Security Act
Sets minimum standards for most voluntarily established pension and health plans in private industry to provide protection for individuals in these plans. It was enacted by the 93rd U.S. congress. It now makes sure that we have employment benefit plans. -
Federal Privacy Act
It governs the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of personally identifiable information about individuals that is maintained in systems of records by federal agencies. It was signed by the 93rd U.S. congress. It makes sure the we have documents on all important things. -
Resource recovery and conservation act
Federal law in the United States governing the disposal of solid waste and hazardous waste. -
Drug free workplace act
All Federal grantees to agree that they will provide drug-free workplaces as a precondition of receiving a contract or grant from a Federal agency. -
Clean Air Act
United States federal law designed to control air pollution on a national level. -
Family and Medical Leave Act
It required covered employers to provide employees job-protected and unpaid leave for qualified medical and family reasons. It was signed by president Clinton. It now allows people to keep their job, even when they have to be out of work, for important reasons. -
Cleran Water Act
Primary federal law in the United States governing water pollution. There would be more pollution with out it. -
Employee Polygraph Protection
Prevents employers from using polygraph (lie detector) tests, either for pre-employment screening or during the course of employment, with certain exemptions. It keeps you from knowing everything about your employee.
