    Vanessa is a shyand curious 5 year old, who has just began Kindergarden. She is very interested in all the things her classmates and teacher discuss, but is too worried on whether her curiosity will disrupt anyone. This relative to Erikson's psychologicall stage Intuitive v. Guilt, because the questiins that will start a social situation are there, but the worrisome feelings exist too. The guilt overpowers the feelings of true leadership and blocks the progress of initiative.
  • Growing Into My Own

    Growing Into My Own
    At the age of 10 years old, Vanessa's parents decide to put her in basktball. They wanted her to be more active and social. At first she was unsure, but as she continued to practice weeks on she gained new friends and a new sense of confidence. Although her coach was not convinced that she was working hard and she became a little doubtful. In this example Vanessa is going through Industry v. Inferirority because she's growing in confidence, but becomes unsure when her coach doubts her.
  • Adolescences

    Adolescences
    Over the years Vanessa has grown out of her shy years and has become an overly ambitious 15 year old. At this point Vanessa has joined multiple sport teams and clubs, resulting in a strong interest in Sports Medicine. With so many siblings and money running low, Vanessa is unsure if her dreams are realistic. This is Erikson's Identity v. Role Confusion, because Vanessa understands and enjoys what she loves, but is financially unsure in society.

    Love
    Vanessa's goals are sure to come, but are coming quite slowly. At the age of 18 she finds herself confining in a really great friend about life and soon feelings grow for him. Around this age in her life is the time her parents warned her that her concentration in school is crucial. Erikson's stage Isolation v. Intimacy is what Vanessa's going through, because she wants someone to connect with, but would it be smart for her to start a relationship when her priority is and will be her education.
