I would always have stories read to me every night before bed and it really created my curiosity for reading. -
Discovering the enjoyment of reading
I really discovered my love for books and reading at a young age, and going to school and reading in school only pushed that love more. -
Interesting topics
I found that topics I found interesting, I gravitated towards. Whether it be history or a specific subject, I read everything I could on it. -
Home and School
I read both books that I had to read for school, and I also read books for fun at home. -
Middle School
Being introduced to new genres opened expanded my horizons. -
Horizons
Being introduced to these new genres made me realize what other types of books I really enjoyed -
One book a month
Since I realized I wasn't reading as much as I used to, I decided to read one book a month as I was able to. I discovered new authors and genres I fell in love with. -
High School
Once I hit high school, I didn't really read as much as I used to. -
Present Day
Again, with a busy schedule I don't get to read as much as I would like to. I do come across a series though where I get into it and don't put the books down until I finish them.
