     Religious Requirements for Voting 1600s
    In the beginning many of the people had a voice though it was limited. And religious qualifications kept many from voting. Men who were not established to the state church couldn't vote. The puritans felt that they were superior, Freedom was slowly given to the nation and you did not have to be a member of the church to vote anymore. There was no immigration involved.

    All the people were required to follow he protestant beliefs and attend those church services. Anyone who rejected the beliefs of the church would be arrested, the religious freedom developed through the Thanksgiving feast and their good relation with the Indians. The motivation for immigration was the pilgrims' nice character and generous dealings.

    They believed that the Anglican church could be changed to their satisfaction. They wanted to purify the church and eliminate any other type of worship, really strict in punishment of anyone who disagreed with them( There wasn't much religious freedom.) The motivation was boring appearance and strict religious rule.

    Very strict and persecution was common. Catholics were not even permitted to marry a catholic priest Motivation was financial profit from a venture, there was not necessarily religious freedom but they did bring people together like the Country gentlemen and workers of artisans mostly catholic and protestant. But the mixture doomed the catholic experiment.

    Roger Williams opposed everyone like when he thought taking land from the native Americans without proper payment was unfair. In 1636 he purchased land from Narragansett and founded the colony of Rhode Island. Roger Williams believed in complete religious freedom and there was no immigration involved in this text except for Anne Hutchinson moving to Rhode Island.

She had a different type of thinking and it was dangerous to the people, she was a leader and stood out, the motive was God’s work. And religious freedom isn't really talked about; this passage was mainly about Anne Hutchinson.

    William Penn had the king over a barrel while Charles the second owed his father huge debt so he gave them large amounts of land. He saw an opportunity and people of his faith the Quakers suffered through persecution, religious freedom developed by William Penn finding opportunity for his faith in the Quakers. Their motivation was Freedom of religion.

    Known as religious piety and showing true religion characteristics. George Whitefield was a minister of the Church of England allied with other Anglican clergymen. Most notable John and Charles Wesley together they help a movement to reform the church of England, religious freedom developed by William Penn finding opportunity for his faith in the Quakers. Their motivation was Freedom of religion.

    God teaches the good and believes in punishment for the bad. Pennsylvania and Rhode Island are free religious states and let anybody into their church, the Virginia Bill of rights brought free exercise of religion and this principle was accepted by every state and most likely brought people into those areas.
