    Gage send 2,400 british soldiers up the hill. The colonist held their fired for as long as they can then finally shot. That's when the deadliest war happened during revolutionary war.

    The British attempted to seize New York City. They sent 32,000 soldiers.
  • Trenton

    Washington risked everything he had and sent 2,400 men in a small rowboat to Trenton, New Jersey, and defended a garrison of hessians in a surprise attack.

    The British general march straight into jaw of disaster. The British general and his troops arrived at New York City thinking they were going to join forces. But to find out the the British troops were preoccupied with holding Philadelphia. So the American troops surrounded them at Saratoga. Than they surrender. That was one of the most important events of the war.

    The British general moved the fight to Virginia. He led 7,500 army men onto the peninsula between James and York rivers and camped at Yorktown. Washington commanded troops to begin the siege known as the battle of Yorktown
