Battle At Lexington and Concord
General Gage sent troops to Lexington then to go Concord, but word got out to the colonist. This event was very important because English solders told some colonist, and they told everyone else so they could have a surprise attack on the British's attack. It started the war. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The British won this battle, they lost this battlle but they gained a lot of confidence. -
Dorchester Heights
The patriots won this battle, it was the first victory, without fighting. -

The American's won this battle. It was significant because the Americans forced the British out of the area. They gained confidence. -

The British won this Battle. The British took Philadelphia. -
Battle of Saratoga
The American's won. The British were forced to surrendered, the troops were really out numbered. -
Valley Force
It was where they trained there soldiers. Even though many people died, they trained to be real soldiers. -
Yorktown
The American and the French won. It is a significant because the French were helping the Americans and George Washington lead it. -
Treaty of Paris
It is document that noted that the colonies were not under Britians control.
