    The colonists met to determine what to do about the Brtish. They made the Olive Branch Petition but it was denied by the King. Therefore, they appointed George Washington as leader of the war effort.

    Victory for the British but many were killed. Colonists ran out of supplies and were forced to retreat but not without killing many of the British soldiers.
