Boston Tea PartyThe East India Tea Company Act was passed allowing British tea to be sold at a very low prices plus tax. The colonies didn't think it was right to be taxed, so they didn't buy the tea. The British men wouldn't send the tea back, so it sat in Boston Harbor unloaded. The Sons of Liberty decided to get rid of the unwanted tea. On the night of December the 16th 1773, the Son's of Liberty went aboard the ship dressed as Mohawk Indians and threw all the tea into Boston Harbor.

Intolerable ActsAfter the Boston Tea Party, the King passed the Coercive Acts as punishment for the lost tea. The colonists hated this and they often called them the Intolerable Acts.

Paul Revere's Midnight RideThe British were going to Concord because of stored weapons planned to be used against them. They went to destroy them. Paul Revere road ahead on horse back alerting the minutemen that, "The British are coming, The British are coming!"

Olive Branch PetitionThe petition was one last try to have peace and be treated fair with Britain. The king didn't even read the petition he just sent more soldiers to the colonies.
