    2.) The Great Fire was an extremely large fire that destroyed about 2/3 of Rome
    3.) Nero allegedly started the fire to burn down Rome so he could bypass the Senate and Rebuild Rome to his liking.
    4.) Lasted only Six days, but still was extreme devastating. Hundreds of people died and thousands were left homeless
    5.) After the fire Emperor Nero needed a scapegoat, he decided to blame the Christians

    1.) Was Roman Emperor between the years of 306 and 337
    2.) He came to power during a series of Civil Wars, these wars destroyed the Tetrachry that was established.
    3.) Constantine had a battle that he was greatly outnumbered at, he said he saw a vision and a dream saying he would be victorious.
    4.) He put a X and P on the shields of his army, and they were victorious in their battle
    5.) Constantine also helped establish the Edict of Milan

    2.) 3,500 Christians were killed during this persecution
    3.) Made Christianity illegal in the Roman Empire
    4.) Christian were executed by various methods; burned at the stake, fed to the beasts(lions, tigers,etc.), and having their head removed
    5.) Was caused by Emperor Decius, who order everyone in Rome to sacrifice to the Roman Gods. He believed that the gods would be angry and punish Romans for the Christians not worshiping them

    2.)Constantine won this battle and continued on to destroy the Tetrachry that ruled over Rome
    3.) Maxentius drowned in the Tiber River that was underneath the bridge, his body was recovered, decapitated, then paraded through the streets of Rome
    4.)This battle was the start of Constantine's conversion to Christianity
    5.) Constantine saw visions of Angles and a dream that foretold he would be victorious

    5.) This Edict is one of the major reasons that Christianity became the largest and most popular religion in Rome

    5.) Issued Decrees that made Christianity the official state church of the Roman Empire. Although he didn't prevent others from practicing other religions
