HItler takes over the army by killing off a bunch of officials, he also opens up concentration camps for political enemies, I mean prisoners. President Hindenburg died also and Hitler turned Germany into a autocracy.

Austrian Takeover

Hitler gives the Austrian chancellor an ultimatum, the chancellor asks France and Britain for help against the Nazis, they refused, the next day Germany invaded Austria

Czechoslovakia and the Munich Agreement

Sep 29, 1938

After three meetings and some threats of invasion, Britain and France got Germany to sign a treaty saying that if they get part of Czechoslovakia then they would stop invading. This was called the Munich Agreement.
