  • Paul Revere’s Ride

    Paul Revere is known for going from town to town informing militia that the British were soon to arrive. His ride from Boston to Concord is known as the Midnight Ride.
  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    The Battle was the battle to kick off the Revolutionary War. After British soldiers set out Boston to Concord the colonist rebels fought back.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    This was the first major engagement between the British and the Colonial Army in which the Colonists truly bloodied the British. Although they lost, they still did major damage.
  • The Declaration of Independence

    This is the declaration that the 13 Colonies their separation from Great Britain. The United Colonies wanted to be Free and Independent and the day the Declaration was adopted will never be forgotten.
  • Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware

    George Washington planned a surprise attack on Christmas Eve after he heard that defenses were down. He crossed the Delaware river with 2,400 men and made the surprise attack on Trenton and won the battle.
  • Battle of Saratoga

    The Battle of Saratoga consists of two major battles that are considered turning points in the Revolutionary War. This battle was a decisive victory to the Americans over the British.
  • Valley Forge

    Valley Forge was where the American Continental Army made camp during the winter of 1777-1778. It was led by General George Washington and is considered to be a turning point in the Revolutionary War.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    The Battle of Yorktown was when the British finally raised their white flag in surrender and ended the Revolutionary War with the Colonies finally being free. The victory was made by American Continental Army troops and French Army troops.
