Sugar Act
British put taxed on sugar, molasses, and many other things. Some other things the british did were give harsh punishment to smugglers. James Otis came up with the saying ''Taxation without representation which is called Tyranny.'' -
Quartering Act
Quartering act is when colonists had to feed the soilders. The rights to English citizens were violated. Some colonists refused to let colonist stay in their homes. -
Stamp Act
Colonist had to buy an additional stamp for documents like wills contracts, news papers and even playing cards. -
Townshed Act
Tax on imports including lead, tea, glass, etc...
The Writs ofAassitance allowed british customs officals to search ships. -
Boston Massacre
Another name for the Boston Massacre was The Bloody Massacre it was location in Boston,Mass.. The number of victims were five ther names were Crispos Attucks, Samuel Gray, James Caldewell, Samuel Maverick, and Patrick Carr. -
Tea Act
Tea was importenteed from British East India Company. Tea was taxed for 3 pence/ pound. -
