    The French and Indian war was between The British America and New France. They both had an army and were supported with military units from allies. It was located in North America and started in 1754 and ended in 1763.

    The Proclamation of 1763 was Issued by king Gorge the third. The Proclamation was made for the Indians. They made a border along the Appalachian Mountains, They then turned that in to a Indian reservation.

    The Sugar Act happened on April 5th, 1764. The Sugar Act took place in the 13 colonies. The Sugar act was tax on sugar, molasses and other shipped goods.

    The Stamp Act was passed by the British Parliament on March 22, 1765. All the American colonists were required to pay the new taxes on printed paper that they used.
  • Townshend Acts Of 1767

    The Townshend act taxed lead, glass, paper, tea, and paint. Americans resisted these taxes and began to boycott jewelry, coaches, clothes, etc.

    Colonist were mad about the taxes. They started to protest and call the British soldiers names. The soldiers became angry and shot into the crowd of colonists. There were many deaths.

    The Tea Act was taxes on tea even though tea was cheap. It was made to make taxed tea cheaper than smuggled tea. The only tea company that could sell at these low prices was The East India Tea Company of Britain.
  • The Boston Tea Party

    Colonists dressed up like Native Americans and snuck onto three British ships in Boston Harbor. They threw several hundred boxes of tea into the ocean to protest the Tea Act.
  • Intolerable Acts

    Act established by the government to punish the Colonists for the Boston Tea Party. The colonists were responsible for paying for the wasted tea, extra British soldiers were posted in Massachusetts and everyone was under strict supervision.
  • Frist Continental Congress

    The colonies had their first congress meeting. Each colony sent a delegate and they decided that each colony should make their own militia and that they needed to work together and gain autonomy.
