    The Treaty of Versailles was one of the last treaty's signed during World War I. The treaty ended the war between Germany and allies. The treaty was signed in Paris

    Germany was in a very bad state (after being hit with the Great Depression), and was in need of a leader. That leader ended up being Hitler. The Nazi's party consisted of a lot of middle class men, they weren't really known beofre Hitler came into power, but once Hitler became the leader, the group grew fast,

    The Czechoslovakia Crisis
    Czechoslovakia was created towars the end of World War I and became know as the Sudetenland. Hitler then a couple years later said that he wanted the land back because, the Czechoslovakian government wasn't treating Germans right.
  • Violation of the Munich Pact

    Britian, France, Italy, and Germany all met up in Germany for the Munich Conference. Britian and France went in hopes that they would get to make an agreement with Hitler stating that they wouldn't take a part in war. Hitler said yes to it, but he asked to use some land in Sudentenland. Six months later Hitler broke the agreement.

    The attack on Pearl Harbor started when Japanesse airplanes attacked Pearl Harbor which is near Honolulu, Hawaii. The day this happened, President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared war on Japan. A couple days after that, Germany and Italy declared war on the United States.

    This occured about six months after the attack at Pearl Harbor. Japan wanted to sink the remaining planes that weren't destroyed during Pearl Harbor. Japan wanted to strike the Midway Island because that would result in all the aircrafts being destroyed.

    This was the code name for the Battle of Normandy, and it was what allowed Germany to invade European countries. This operation involved issuses that no other army had to deal with before. One of the main issuses was for the allies to figure out where they would be landing in France.

    This took place in what we now call Russia, and the code name was Operation Barbarossa. Hitler had his army go and invade the Soviet Union. The invasion wasn't succesful because they didn't have a chance of winning the upcoming battles.

    The Battle of Okinawa was the last and biggest battle of World War II near the pacific islands. There were a total of 287,000 American soldiers, and a total of 130,000 Japenesse soldiers. Many of Japan's soldiers that were in aircrafts only made one way trips.

    It was America who started this battle when they bombed Hiroshima. The bomb killed 90% of the population, after this bomb, the city Nagasaki was also bombed. Soon after that Japan's emperor surrendered the war.
